Some links for your animal project

ARKive is a wonderful site to start your research. It has great pictures and the quality of the information is excellent. Remember that ARKive also has a very interesting Facebook page.

Here’s a link to a post on the ARKive blog that tells us about something important that happened today: the government of Mexico put into place protection for the world’s most threatened marine mammal, the vaquita.

Encyclopedia of Life is another very complete site.  Put your animal into the search tool and you will  see a general overview, detailed information on many aspects of your animal, photos, maps, and more. Encyclopedia of Life has a super Facebook page. Right now they have some amazing photographs of insects highlighted.
